Captain Moses Hutchinson-Pascal scored a last-minute equaliser as Highbury came from behind three times in the closing stages to secure a 19-19 draw with Croydon in their opening fixture of the England Korfball Promotion Division.
Mirelle Geervliet scored a first-half hat-trick and Hutchinson-Pascal also struck twice for Highbury, who train at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre, as the sides went into the interval deadlocked at 9-9.
Ana Rocha put Highbury ahead but Croydon came back strongly, twice establishing a two-goal lead.
Hutchinson-Pascal scored a penalty and Bernard Martin also found the net to level and, when Croydon retook the lead, Rocha responded to make it 14 apiece.
The visitors went ahead one last time but, with time running out, Hutchinson-Pascal popped up to grab the draw in dramatic fashion.
