South Hampstead moved up to third in Division Three of the Middlesex County League, level on points with second-placed Barnes, after a convincing victory away at Winchmore Hill.
Captain James Williams took 4-22 as the hosts were bowled out for 127, and SH reached 130 in 24.5 overs with seven wickets in hand.
Winchmore Hill elected to bat but suffered regular losses as Nish Patel (2-20), Saqib Pervez (1-4) and Touqeer Ahmad (1-29) aided their skipper’s efforts with the ball.
Charlie Holmes (65) contributed more than half of his side’s total runs, and his fellow opener Morgan Prior (16) and De La Rey Terblanche (13) were the only other players to make it into double figures.
SH had little trouble chasing down that target. Leroy Shepherd (30) and Williams (39) laid the foundations and, although Sacha Duran (4) went cheaply, Shrutarth Rajani (17 not out) and Nish Patel (31no) finished the job.
