South Hampstead lost their perfect home record and slipped down to sixth place after a top-order batting collapse resulted in a defeat at Milverton Road.
Winchmore Hill were bowled out for 195 in 54.4 overs, with Touqeer Ahmad taking 3-29 and Felix Walker (2-39) and Kirk Drummond (2-58) picking up two wickets apiece.
But SH’s reply began horribly as the departures of Zia Sialvi (2) and James Williams (0) left them 3-2 – and before long they were 32-5.
Walker hit an unbeaten 77 – the top score of the match – but none of his team-mates reached 15 and the hosts fell 62 runs short after 37.4 overs.
