London residents looking for a second home or considering retiring by the sea don’t have to leave the city to research their options.
The Westcountry Property exhibition will host property experts from Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset to answer questions from anyone interested in moving to the area, while 80 estate agents offering land and homes in the region will be exhibiting.
Steve Moir, chairman of Property Sharing Experts, said: “Many of our buyers come from London and the surrounding areas so it makes sense to make experts available for potential buyers to talk to on a face to face basis.
“Anyone thinking about buying property in the South West should pop along to the exhibition on 23rd October to discuss the prospect with an experienced estate agent from the area.”
Rural and coastal first-time, family and executive homes, holiday and investment properties will all be on display, with options ranging from urban dwellings in Bristol to remote cottages in West Cornwall.
Asking prices range from as little as £20,000 to over £1 million so there is certainly scope for London homeowners to capitalise on capital from their existing properties, whether through selling and cashing in the difference or remortgaging.
The event will be held at Distinctly Westcountry W1, a specialist Westcountry estate agency office on George Street, on Thursday 23rd October from 11am-4pm.
