Proof that new housing in London’s zone 2 is a scarce and sought-after commodity is offered by the enthusiastic reception to Queen’s Park Place, NW6.


The development in Queen’s Park offers 116 one- to three-bedroom flats, including six penthouses arranged over three L-shaped, south-facing blocks, located on Salusbury Road.

Architecture is by the firm responsible for the first stage of the Battersea Power Station development.

Interiors for the show flats have been styled by New York-based designer, ex-fashion model Tamzin Greenhill, who has worked on homes for Lord Edward Spencer-Churchill and Nat Rothschild.

The area has not seen much new development and apartments are already being snapped up in the complex, which is due for completion in spring 2016.

A spokesperson for Londonewcastle, the developer behind the project, said: “Since the start of the working year, we’ve had over 175 new registrations for Queens Park Place.

“We’ve seen that the enquirer/buyer demographic has been predominantly local owner occupiers - encouraging signs of a robust domestic market in the very early stages of 2015.

Prices at Queen’s Park Place start at £500,000. The development is being marketed through Savills and Aston Chase.
