The views from this Heath-side house are so special that frankly, the rest of the house could be a poky wreck and we might still have picked it to feature. But the interiors of this five-bedroom home tread such a clever line between period charm and contemporary simplicity that, of course, it more than qualifies for the position of big buy of the week.
Arranged over five floors with a pared back appeal thanks to stripped wooden floorboards and doors, white walls and matte teal kitchen, the property also offers bling moments, most notably in the mosaiced spa/bathroom. Target practice aside, the flat would make an ideal first home for some well financed first time buyers. The portered block offers off street parking and heating and hot water included in the service charges, while the private balcony and views over London are definite plus points.
Most of all though, it’s the chance to come over all Agatha Christie thanks to the remaining 1930s touches that is particularly special here.

If you think it’s impossible to find a new build in Hampstead Garden Suburb, think again. Yes, it’s a rarity but the 39 apartments in Chandos Way are as new as they come, and suitably high end for the prime location. The architects have been careful to blend in with the surroundings, however, and the apartments and detached houses reference the Arts and Crafts style of Lutyens and co both inside and out.
