Hampstead creative powerhouse duo fashion designer-turned-sculptor Nicole Farhi and playwright David Hare have lived in the area for decades in an 18th-century house. The garden is a prized asset and featured in the 1992 film Damage, which was written by Hare and starred Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche. Scott won a legal battle to build a stone gazebo in his garden a few years back, and has been a familiar face in the village in between making movies across the globe. The 75-year-old lives with his current partner, the actress Giannina Facio.
