London Underground (LU) is undertaking a major programme of renewal as part of Transport for London's Investment Programme, work that is being undertaken by LU and Tube Lines. This bulletin provided by LU includes information about planned LU improvement works, as well as those on the London Overground, London Tramlink and Docklands Light Railway networks.

TfL is urging all Londoners and visitors to the city to "check before you travel" at weekends, allowing extra journey time where necessary.

Works affecting this area include:

On the Circle and Hammersmith and City lines, Paddington station will be closed all weekend for station improvement work.

The Jubilee line will be suspended on Sunday between Stanmore and Waterloo.

Replacement bus services will operate as follows:

Service C: Stanmore - Canons Park - Queensbury - Kingsbury - Wembley Park.

Service D: Wembley Park - Neasden - Dollis Hill - Willesden Green - Kilburn -

West Hampstead - Finchley Road.

Additionally Metropolitan line trains will stop at Willesden Green.

Passengers travelling between stations north of Willesden Green and central London are advised to take replacement bus service C or D and change at Wembley Park or Willesden Green for Metropolitan Line train services.

Northern line trains will not be stopping at Archway and South Wimbledon on Sunday after 2200hrs while station improvement work is being carried out. Customers are advised to use nearby stations and local buses.

The Piccadilly line will be suspended all weekend between Hammersmith and Ealing Common/Northfields and also between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. As a result there will be no direct Piccadilly line service between central London and Heathrow.

Replacement bus services will operate as follows:

For journeys between central London and Heathrow: Ealing Broadway (for Central Line) - Boston Manor, non-stop.

London Overground

Clapham Junction - Willesden Junction

London Overground services will be suspended between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction on Sunday. Replacement buses will run, calling at all stations. Valid Southern tickets will be accepted on the buses.

Valid London Overground tickets will be accepted on bus route 220 between Shepherd's Bush Green and Willesden Junction and bus route 228 between Shepherd's Bush station and Willesden Junction.

Richmond - Gospel Oak

London Overground services will be suspended between Richmond and Gunnersbury on Sunday. Passengers should use the District line.

Replacement buses will operate, calling at Gunnersbury - Acton Central (for South Acton) - Willesden Junction - Kensal Rise - Brondesbury Park - Brondesbury - West Hampstead - Finchley Road & Frognal - Hampstead Heath - Gospel Oak.

Gospel Oak - Stratford

London Overground services will be suspended between Gospel Oak and Stratford every day until Tuesday 1 June. Replacement buses will run between Hampstead Heath and Stratford, calling at all affected stations except Caledonian Road & Barnsbury station. Passengers should take the 153 bus from Caledonian Road & Barnsbury (Hemingford Road) to join the replacement bus service at Holloway Road Tube station instead.

Gospel Oak - Barking

Services will be suspended between Gospel Oak and Barking on Sunday. Valid London Overground tickets will be accepted on the replacement buses which will run in both directions between: Gospel Oak (bus stop at station) - Upper Holloway - Crouch Hill - Harringay Green Lanes - South Tottenham - Blackhorse Road - Walthamstow Queen's Road - Walthamstow Central - Leyton Midland Road - Leytonstone High Road - Wanstead Park - Woodgrange Park - Barking.
