A 22-year-old woman with no history of mental illness left notes for her family before throwing herself in front of a train at Finchley Road Tube station, an inquest heard today (Wed).
Micaela Hayden, a strategy consultant, had never spoken about suicide before her death on April 16, although she had talked of self-harming to her boyfriend in December.
Ms Hayden died of multiple injuries after leaping from the platform and into the path of a train.
Assistant Deputy Coroner Dr William Dolman said: “All evidence points towards a deliberate act at Finchley Road Underground station of walking into the path of an Underground train. Police found a series of explicit notes at her home describing her intent to end her life.”
Recording a verdict at St Pancras Coroner’s Court, Dr Dolman said she “killed herself”.
