POETRY enthusiasts from Highgate have teamed up to create a radio show.
Writers Murray Shelmerdine and Bob Jansen have put their heads together with gardener Sharon Lytton to create Poetry Now and Then for the internet radio station Resonance FM.com.
Ms Lytton said: "Too often, poetry is seen as the preserve of the highly educated or as something aloof.
"But throughout history, it has been the most inspirational way of communicating with the ordinary person or even a whole nation."
Poetry Now and Then links the works of today with some of the great poems of the past.
Producers hope it will
