Move over Leicester Square. Hampstead will play host to its very own red carpet film premiere this week – but sadly some of the stars of Four Tails have been banned from the launch.
While most are set to attend the screening at the Everyman cinema in Holly Bush Vale next Sunday (March 30), the film’s canine cast members, including Garbo the Great Dane, have been refused entry.
The short film focuses on the lives of four fictional dog owners who walk their pets on Hampstead Heath. It is written and produced by Hampstead actress Georgia Slowe, who is best known for appearing in ITV soap Emmerdale from 2006 to 2008.
Tickets for the 11am screening, followed by a Q&A session, are available for £20 through www.slowemotionfilm.com and all proceeds will be donated to dog rescue charity All Dogs Matter.
