A woman has been taken to hospital after a Kentish Town house fire late last night.
She was taken for treatment as a priority after escaping the Modbury Gardens property before firefighters arrived.
The cause of the groundfloor blaze – which was brought under control by 21 firefighters and four fire engines at 11.19pm – is under investigation.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We sent an ambulance crew, our hazardous area response team and an incident response officer to the scene, alongside London’s Air Ambulance.”
Part of the home’s lower floor was damaged.
