THREE flats in Crouch End were badly damaged after a fire broke out on the ground floor.
Flames ripped through the hallway of the three-storey house in Ferme Park Road yesterday (Sunday) and smoke swept upstairs, blocking the exit.
Officers from Hornsey Fire Station arrived at the premises at 5.45pm and evacuated a woman in her 30s. She was taken to the Whittington Hospital where she was treated for smoke inhalation.
