Police say the woman's condition is not life-threatening

A pedestrian was hit by a car in South Grove in a road traffic collision this afternoon.

A woman in her sixties was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in South Grove around 2pm, although police do not believe she is in a life-threatening condition.

Police cordoned off the area around Pond Square this afternoon.

There are no longer any road closures in place.
