She was hit by a south-bound train just after 6am and taken to hospital by paramedics - it is not yet known how serious her injuries are.

A British Transport Police spokeswoman said: "The incident was reported at 6.09am and is currently being treated as non-suspicious."

Services were halted on the line until 7.15am.
