A WOMAN has died after her car hit a garden wall in Golders Green yesterday.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the crash in Hendon Way at the junction with the Vale where a woman, 46, who was driving a blue G-Wiz car, died.
It happened at approximately 6.45pm when the car collided with a red Skoda Octavia which stopped at the scene, according to police.
The victim was taken to the Royal London Hospital but died of her injuries at 8.20pm. Her next of kin have been informed although her identity is unlikely to be revealed before her post mortem is held tomorrow.
Officers from the Met’s Road Death Investigation Unit are looking into the incident, and any witnesses are urged to call 020-8998 5319.
