Some superb build-up work from Spencer McCall resulted in him playing the Spaniard in down the left side of the area, and he cut inside and slid the ball home.

The start was of the second half was played at a slow pace, and the first good chance arrived after 65 minutes as McCall crossed into the area and Bolle headed over.

Wingate were forced into changes through injuries, and Read, Joe Sharpe and Marc Henry were gradually introduced, with all three playing their parts in the final two goals.

In the 80th minute, Henry saw Read in space and picked him out with a low pass. Read showed great composure, despite only having being on the pitch for 10 minutes, and calmly rolled the ball beyond McCartney.

Three minutes later the substitute doubled his tally. Bolle was unable to connect with Joe Sharpe’s cross at the near post, and the ball feel to Read, who again found the bottom left corner with ease.
