Jack Daniel's will make music history in London when Shy Child, Infadels, The Shortwave Set and Kids On Bridges come together for an incredible JD Set that will deliver an unforgettable reworking of The Human League's decade defining album 'Dare'. The artists will master their collaborations during a week of intensive studio sessions to create new versions of tracks such as 'Love Action' and 'Don't You Want Me'. These will be unveiled live in spectacular fashion at The JD Set gig.

We have tickets for you and 4 mates to attend this exclusive gig, which takes place at Dingwalls on Wed 5 May. The prize also includes a Jack Daniel's goody bag for the prizewinner. Behind the scenes action from the studio sessions and gigs will be screened on Channel 4, NME TV and on thejdset.co.uk.

Infadels said: "'Dare' is a classic. The synth bass-lines, the mix of electronic pop and killer keyboard riffs has been a massive influence on everything Infadels has done."

A fresh new line up will play at The JD Set Manchester on 27 May which pays homage to punk pioneers, the Buzzcocks and then at Glasgow on 17 June which is dedicated to the Material Girl herself, Madonna.

For the past three years The JD Set has partnered members of musical royalty with hot new names from the underground in gigs up and down the UK. Stand out performances have come from Peter Hook and The Wombats, Hugh Cornwall and The Hours, Don Letts and Little Boots and David Gedge and the chart topping Temper Trap.

THE JD SET - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over only excluding employees of the promoter, (Hackney Gazette/ London 24) their families, agents and anyone else connected with the promotion. No purchase necessary.

2. Photographic identification must be provided before entry in to the venue is granted.

3. To enter please fill in attached form Entries to be received no later than (25 April 2010).

4. Only one entry per person.

5. There are 2 competitions, each with one prize: free attendance to The JD Set gig on (5 May at Dingwalls, Camden, London) for the prize-winner and 4 guests. The prize winner also wins a goody bag including a Jack Daniel’s harmonica, flask, playing cards and keyring.

6. The performance line-up may be subject to change.

7. The prize-winner and their guest will need to confirm they are over 18 before taking up the prize. The promoter reserves the right to select alternative winners, should the original winner and guest not validate all of their identity and age within 3 days of notification or if the original winner is unable to attend The JD Sets. The prize draw will be supervised by an independent person and will take place on (26 April) The prize-winner will be the first name drawn at random from all valid entries.

8. The prize-winner will be notified within 3 days and receive further details of their prize within 7 days of verification of their age, as required above.

9. Entry to the event is on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 8pm. Entry will not be granted if the venue is full, even if you are on the guest list or have a confirmation email.
