Legendary romantic soul crooner Freddie Jackson will tantalise audiences for one night only, with a live concert at IndigO2, 28th February 2009. This will be Freddie's first UK appearance in over 10 years.
Hailing from Harlem, New York, Freddie Jackson is the Grammy nominated, sophisticated soul star with no less than 11 number one singles and an impressive 15 albums under his belt. A contemporary of the likes of Luther Vandross, Freddie has honed his craft for over 20 years and remains one of the most successful classic soul stars of our age. Freddie's latest musical offering was his 2007 Greatest Hits album and in 2006 Transitions, his most recent studio album was born.
It is Jackson's effortless delivery of love ballads and feel-good classics that has earned him a legion of fans worldwide and the success of some of his best known songs including Rock Me Tonight (For Old Time's sake), You Are My Lady and a cover of Billy Paul's Me and Mrs Jones.
