Labour councillors have been asked if the Hamas flag would be flown over Town Hall.
Following the election of Jeremy Corbyn as party leader, Conservatives went on the attack at a full council meeting last week.
Cllr Gio Spinella asked: “Considering the friendships that the leader of the Labour Party has, can we now expect the flag of Hamas to fly over Town Hall?”
Camden Conservative leader Claire Louise Leyland said: “It’s fair to say that many of our colleagues on the benches opposite have been looking a little lost recently.
“They may well find that they have a Labour leader whose beliefs may shift the debate so far to the left that they find themselves ideologically out of touch with their own party.”

Following Cllr Spinella’s question, Labour finance chief Cllr Theo Blackwell said: “It’s a totally ridiculous question which doesn’t dignify a response.”
And Mike Freer, Tory MP for Finchley and Golders Green, branded Mr Corbyn a threat to the Jewish community in a blog post.

Cllr Douglas Beattie, Labour, praised the party’s “excellent new leader”, and council leader Sarah Hayward – who backed Liz Kendall – said she looked forward to working with Labour’s new team.
