Turkey, salmon, beef and lamb were all on offer as Lisson Green’s over-50s sat down for a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
Lord Mayor Cllr Susie Burbridge joined more than 60 residents at the Greenside Community Centre this week to enjoy the feast before the main activity in the form of dancing and singing.
A choir performed Christmas carols while the dancefloor was filled when a country and western band played.
“There were so many people up dancing that they could hardly get on the dancefloor,” said organiser Dolly Cuthbert.
“The Mayor was up with everyone and, if I may say so myself, the food was out of this world.”
