The Camden Society’s Mill Lane Garden Centre has branched out into selling Christmas trees in aid of the charity this festive period.
The centre, in West Hampstead, offers local people with a learning disability the chance of an outdoor career with its work training and apprenticeship programmes.
All proceeds are reinvested into the charity.
Running up to Christmas, the centre is open Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, and from 10.30am to 2.30pm on Saturdays.
Depending on their size, trees can be bought from £25 to £75.
Mill Lane Garden Centre manager Michael Inman said “Come along and visit us in West Hampstead to pick up your Norway Spruce or Lodgepole Pine in time for Christmas.”
“You’ll be helping a great cause because all profits are put back into supporting people with a learning disability to build a career and plan for a great future.”
