PARENTS and teachers from a Highgate school will be wearing their pants on the outside on a walk to raise cash to buy asylum seekers new underwear.
On October 12, Channing School parent Amanda Howe and teacher Debbie Green will take part in the sponsored walk to buy destitute asylum seekers fresh undies.
"It seems like a basic human right that a person should be able to wear brand-new knickers," said Ms Howe.
"We are asking people to donate either pants or pounds. The response from parents at the school has been overwhelmingly generous and my car has returned from the school run laden with hundreds of items of donated underwear."
