VOTERS will take to the polls today to select a new councillor in the Belsize by-election.
Residents have been able to make their vote since 7am at three stations, Belsize synagogue, Belsize Library and Bray Tenants Hall.
Four candidates are bidding for votes in the election race which comes after the resignation of Lib Dem representative Chris Basson.
Tom Simon (Lib Dem), Gary Benardout (Conservative), Sean Birch (Labour) and Naomi Aptowitzer (Green) are looking to take the majority.
The race is being touted as a close tussle between the Conservatives and the Lib Dems - the two parties running Camden Council in coalition.
The polls are open until 10pm and the result will be revealed tomorrow morning on www.hamhigh.co.uk.
