POLICE are hunting a violent gang after a teenager was stabbed in the leg during an early morning attack in Dartmouth Park.

The boy, 15, was set upon at 3am last Saturday in Sandstone Place and was later taken to hospital where he received stitches for the wound.

Det Con Neil Layton said: "We know a group of five to seven teenage boys were seen making off towards Dartmouth Park Hill, some running and some on push bikes. They were casually dressed and some wore dark hooded tops."
