A POLICEMAN is recovering in hospital after he and another officer were allegedly attacked by two dogs. One of the incidents is alleged to have happened in Cobourg Road near Hornsey rail line while the other reportedly happened at the New River Village housing complex in Hornsey. Both occurred at around 5am on Tuesday. Matthew Joannou and Mehmet Koc, both of Newland Road, Hornsey, were charged with two counts of wounding with intent, attempted robbery and possessing a class-B drug. They were also charged with allowing a dog to lose control and cause injury.
