A UNIVERSITY researcher has been stripped of his fellowship after publishing claims that gas chambers were not used to kill millions of Jews at Auschwitz.

Dr Nicholas Kollerstrom, astronomer and respected academic, published an article last year claiming that no Jew was ever killed in a gas chamber by the Nazis.

In response to the article being brought to their attention, University College London announced last week that Dr Kollerstrom's honorary research fellowship had been terminated.
