Police are appealing for witnesses after two girls were hit by a car near Friern Barnet yesterday (Thursday).
Officers were called to Colney Hatch Lane close to the junction of Woodhouse Road at 6.45pm on Thursday, following reports that two pedestrians had been involved in a collision with a Ford Fusion.
The driver stopped at the scene and the pedestrians, two girls aged 12 and 14, were taken to an east London hospital by air ambulance.
Their injuries are described as critical.
