TV chef Jamie Oliver has applied for permission to refurbish his new Grade-II* listed £8.9million Highgate home.
The celebrity, who moved to the village from Primrose Hill, submitted the application to Camden Council this week to make alterations and refurbishments to the historic eight-bedroom property in one of the most exclusive streets in the area.
His new Highgate Village neighbours include pop singer George Michael, supermodel Kate Moss and actor Jude Law.
The proposed alterations include new painted metal railings, York stone floors, and re-plastering the ceilings.
The house was built circa 1688, one of six Restoration houses in the same street.
In October, the star’s Primrose Hill home was raided by burglars.
