Alphonsus "Fonzie" Sweeney, 41, died in an accident on Friday February 2, when his motorbike was dragged under the wheels of a lorry on Arlington Road.
His grieving family was joined at St Joseph's Catholic Church on Highgate Hill by Mr Sweeney's fiancee, whom he was due to marry on May 10.
Poems and tributes were read to commemorate the life of the painter and decorator from Holloway.
Police are still investigating the death which happened at a notorious blackspot on the junction with Delancey Street at 7.25am. There were 10 accidents there between July 2004 and July 2007.
Residents say the introduction of traffic lights are the only way to make the area safer.
Camden Council is waiting for the police investigation to conclude before deciding on what action to take.
