TRAVEL chaos descended across London last night when a 48-hour tube strike began at 7pm.

The strike began after talks broke down between London Underground bosses and the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union.

A 'special service' was still running on the Northern Line this morning (June 9), with trains every eight minutes, but with all other underground routes disrupted commuters have been forced to find alternative means of transport.

Overcrowded bus stops across Camden swarmed with furious travellers as full buses drove past without stopping to collect passengers. Meanwhile some people chose to ride bicycles or took advantage of the Overground train services.

The Jubilee Line is part suspended while the Bakerloo Line is completely suspended.
