Arsenal have been dealt a massive injury blow after Kolo Toure was ruled out until the middle of next month.
The Ivory Coast defender was carried off after just six minutes of Tuesday night's 0-0 Champions League draw with holders AC Milan.
Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal manager, confirmed the
news: "A calf injury that rules him out for, from what I've seen after the game, three or four weeks at least.
"It was a bad movement, a consequence of the African Nations Cup, too much heat in the calf!"
Toure is set to miss Saturday's Premier League trip to Birmingham City and further league matches with Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic, along with the return game with AC Milan.
