The latest Annual Charity Boxing Dinner promises to be a memorable occasion as boxing, comedy and fine dining come together in the name of a good cause.

On Wednesday 26 February at the Lancaster Hotel in Lancaster Gate, guests will enjoy a free drinks reception followed by a three course meal, three bouts of boxing and entertainment from top comic Terry Alderton, the Sun’s Comedian of the Year 2011 and star of EastEnders, Michael Mcintyre’s Roadshow and Dave’s One Night Stand.

Guests will also have the opportunity to take part in a raffle to win a Tag Heuer Aquaracer Chronograph Men’s Watch, and an auction where the lots will include a driving lesson with top Formula 1 instructor Rob Wilson, a corporate sailing day on a Clipper yacht, a framed miniature boxing glove signed by Sir Henry Cooper and a Porsche driving experience for two at Silverstone.

The annual dinner has been running for 28 years and for the third time it will be held in aid of Norwood, a leading UK charity supporting childen, families and people with learning disabilities.

This year’s Henry Cooper Award will be presented by Sir Henry’s sons. Sir Henry Cooper attended the dinner up until his death in 2011 and supported Norwood by taking part in their annual golf days.
