THREE teenagers have been stabbed in two suspected gang fights in Camden in recent days.

Police were called at 1am on Saturday to reports of a fight in Malden Road, Kentish Town where they discovered an 18-year-old had been chased down and knifed in the back.

Another man who had been stabbed in the chest was found in nearby Willes Road.

No arrests have yet been made.

Det Insp John Marriott said: "At this stage of the investigation we are keeping an open mind as to whether these incidents are linked."

It is alleged that the first victim had been on his way home when a group of men got out of a vehicle and one approached him with a knife.

In a second gang fight In the early hours of Wednesday a teenager was slashed in the face and stabbed in the buttocks with a bottle on Ainsworth Way, Kilburn, by a gang of youths.

The 19-year-old was walking through Rowley Way when he was set upon by a gang believed to be from the Queen's Crescent area of Kentish Town. Reports suggest he will be left with serious facial scarring.

Police are not linking yesterday's attack with the weekend's incident where both victims are understood to be making a good recovery but have been reluctant to co-operate with police.
