Eerie tales of London ghosts and demons were relived for a new audience on Hampstead Heath.
Storyteller Vanessa Woolf and demon hunter Chris Roberts regaled an audience with terrifying ghost stories in a secret location in the heart of Hampstead Heath on Friday.
A crowd of 30 met Ms Woolf and Mr Roberts at Hampstead Heath Overground station around 9.30pm before being led into the Heath’s woodland.
Ms Wolf, who grew up in Swiss Cottage and went to Camden School for Girls, said: “We thought we’d do some really, really scary stories. Chris told a story about some dogs experimented on by a local scientist.
“He reckons the Heath is haunted by ghostly dogs and we definitely thought we heard some!”
