COMMUTERS could face a 24-hour strike affecting tube stations in north west London starting at 7pm today (April 8).

Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union voted to take part in the strike which could involve 100 workers at Willesden Green, St John's Wood, Finchley Road, Dollis Hill, Kilburn, West Hampstead and Swiss Cottage.

Transport for London has claimed there are procedures in place to deal with these kinds of issues and they are calling for RMT to return to the negotiating table.

The strike was caused by a row over bullying and intimidation.
