A Star Wars day at the shopping centre on Saturday raised £800 for mental health charuty Mencap.

Centre manager Jason King said: “Star Wars is one of those legendary films that brings people together from all walks of life and of all ages. As The O2 Centre’s Vue cinema will be screening the film, we thought it was a great excuse to celebrate.”

There were stormtroopers and a sinister Darth Vader on hand.
