GEORGE Michael is due in court today charged today with possession of cannabis and driving while unfit through drink or drugs.

The troubled singer, who lives in Highgate, was arrested last month following an incident in Hampstead High Street on July 4 which caused damage to the shop front of Snappy Snaps.

Mr Michael, whose real name is Georgios Panayiotou, was released on bail and is due today at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court.
