Are you brave enough to tackle a sprint amongst lions, tigers and chimps?
ZSL London Zoo is preparing for the wildest run in the region with its annual Stampede which takes place on March 26.
The event promises to be a Sunday run like no other, where sprinters and strollers will hop trot or gallop past some of the world’s most incredible animals on a 10K or 5K course.
Participants will drift past the bearded pigs and leap past the lemurs then fly out to tackle the wilderness of Regent’s Park. The fun run helps to raise money for the Zoological Society of London’s (ZSL) work with wildlife around the world to ensure no one has to imagine a world without wildlife.
All funds raised from the Stampede will help to care for and conserve some of the most wonderful and endangered animals across the world.

Last year runners raised a roarsome £45,000 for wildlife conservation, said the charity.
Graham Morgan, development manager at ZSL London Zoo, said: “Join us on Sunday 26 March and show the tigers what you are made of. You can prowl around the new 10k route or you can take on the latest addition to the Stampede run with a 5k challenge.”
