Residents and customers alike flocked to a charity shop as it celebrated the six-month anniversary of its opening.
Amid a flurry of pink and blue balloons, Cancer Research UK in Hampstead High Street, Hampstead, held a party last Thursday to mark six months of trading.
Guests were treated to a selection of drinks and snacks at the Hampstead Community Centre next door, as well as a talk by Dr Sarah J. Hazell about the life-saving work of Cancer Research UK.
Agnes Maciol, manager of the shop, said: “It was a jolly and pleasant evening and I’m so glad we were able to introduce our shop to the local community.”
