Scooter rider critically injured after Belsize Park hit and run

A scooter rider is in a critical condition following a collision with a car in Belsize Park.
Police are calling for any witnesses who might have seen a bright blue Mercedes car and a scooter collide on Eton Road just before 9.40pm last night.
Paramedics and air ambulance attended and a 21-year-old rider was taken to a central London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene, said police.
The car is believed to a bright blue Mercedes 4x4.

Detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who either witnessed the collision or saw the Mercedes leaving the scene.
