ROBBIE Keane is on the brink of a sensational return to Tottenham as today's transfer deadline draws to a close, writes PATRICK MOONEY.
I understand Spurs have offered cash-only offer of �15million for the Republic of Ireland captain, who is currently discussing personal terms with the Lilywhites after being granted permission by Liverpool.
Keane, who moved to Merseyside just six months ago for �20.3m, was left out of Liverpool's squad for the 2-0 win over Chelsea at Anfield on Sunday.
