Funnyman Ricky Gervais has applied to build a terrace with a new doorway and metal railings at the side of his Hampstead home.
The actor upset residents when he burrowed under his home in 2007 to install a leisure complex full of what he described as "big boys' toys", including a swimming pool and a gym.
His latest application seeks to use the existing first-floor side extension as a terrace.
It will be dealt with by Camden Council under delegated powers.
