Arsenal reserves stretched their unbeaten run to six games when they beat West Ham United 2-0 at Underhill on Monday.
Jack Wilshere, 16, played a starring role in scoring one and setting up the other. The Gunners took the lead after 24 minutes when Wilshere fed Rui Fonte who poked home from 18yards.Wilshere then celebrated his first start for the reserves with a sublime effort, stepping inside and curling the ball home from 25 yards.
They travel to champions-elect Aston Villa for their final league game on Tuesday.
