Every Sunday from this weekend until September will see an exciting free musical performance at the Regent’s Park bandstand.

Acts including the Heroes Band and the Jonny Ford Jazz Quintet will be performing over the summer, and in early September the bandstand will host the Jewish Music Institute’s Klezmer in the Park event.

Organiser, Mark Elliott, who will perform with the Heroes Band, said: “A bandstand shouldn’t stand empty. These concerts are about bringing together people of all ages to enjoy great music.

Nick Biddle, Park Manager of The Regent’s Park, added: “Finding affordable things to do in London in the summer months can be a struggle. The Royal Parks want to give all Londoners and visitors to the capital an opportunity to take in fantastic music in iconic surroundings, without having to pay a penny.”

The concerts are all on between three and five in the afternoon and the bandstand venue is easily accessible to people with limited mobility and families with young children.
