Red Cross volunteers were quickly on the scene of the Camden fire to offer help and emotional support.
A team of seven worked through the night to help people residents evacuated to the Talacre community sports centre.
The Red Cross team also helped transport seven people from the scene of the blaze to the rest centre, using special vehicles fitted with first aid equipment.
The organisation's operations manager in London, Jonathan Edmondson, said: ''Thankfully there were no casualties but many people were understandably disorientated and upset by being evacuated. We have been offering support to those who need it.''
