Foolish teenagers hurled fireworks at passers-by on a busy bonfire night for police.

Officers had to respond to numerous 999 calls from worried residents who had witnessed youngsters throwing fireworks on Wednesday night.

There were also worrying reports that an ambulance crew responding to their own emergency were also by the yobs.

The Ham&High joined Camden Police on one of their busiest nights of the year on the beat.

Also on duty last night (Wednesday) was Chief Insp Sean Wilson, who is in charge of operations at Camden. He slammed the reckless youths.

"This is completely thoughtless and senseless doing this to the emergency services. They take an awful lot of risk to keep London safe," he said.
