A worker at West Hampstead Thameslink has been rushed to hospital after suffering a spinal injury this morning.
Ambulance crews were called to West End Lane just after 8am to treat a 46-year-old man for leg and spinal injuries.
A fast-response car arrived on the scene within minutes and the man, who is working on the Network Rail site of the soon-to-be finished Thamselink station, had a neck brace and spinal board fitted.
It is not yet clear how he sustained the injuries, but some reports suggest a vehicle was involved in the incident.
He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington for further treatment.
