Onlookers including comedian and actor Ricky Gervais saw man’s best friend compete across six categories at the The Garden Gate pub in South End Green.
The show opened with the Cutest Pup category, followed by Mr and Miss Hampstead, Golden Oldie, Best Rescue and Best in Show.
Ira Moss, who runs All Dogs Matter, told the Ham&High: “It was a great event. It was well-attended, and thankfully, very well-shaded for the dogs - so none of them overheated despite the weather!”

Judges at the event included Good Morning Britain’s Pip Tomson and the BBC’s dog expert Anna Webb.
Ira added; “We were delighted to raise just over a thousand pounds, it was really well worth it.”
Rescue dog Petal, a spaniel, was one of the big winners, picking up the Cutest Puppy trophy, while Finnick, an unusual dutch barge breed, picked up Best in Show.
