Euston Foodbank: Ways you can help ahead of Christmas
PUBLISHED: 13:30 14 December 2018
Forget tins of baked beans, Euston Foodbank needs more festive-themed items ahead of Christmas.
The foodbank in Lancing Street is particularly in need of custard ahead of Christmas Day, for families to eat with their Christmas pudding.
It is looking for tins of rice pudding, honey, clothes washing tablets and sanitary towels with wings.
Anybody looking to donate can do so by dropping off items at St Pancras Church in Euston Road.
The church is open from 8am to 6pm on Monday to Thursday.
Anybody who is interested in donating money can also do so online, on the foodbank’s website.
The foodbank serves the whole of the borough, working alongside food banks in Camden Town, and Chalk Farm to provide support to those in need.
St Pancras Church will also play host to a Christmas carol concert in support of the foodbank on Friday night.
It will start at 7.30pm and tickets are £5. Family tickets for two adults and up to four children are £20.
Doors open at 7pm, and mince pies and wine will be served afterwards by volunteers.
Tickets can be bought on the door, or from the foodbank.
